Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2013
Oops…this beautiful model did stubble on the catwalk, but nevertheless, she strutted her way to the end and back, looking gorgeous
This Alice McCall jumpsuit is amazing, wore by Gary Pepper Girl
I really enjoyed having the dance performances in between the fashion designers, as added more artistic beauty to the event.
I also know what it is like changing models in between designers, back in the day when I dressed models while going to Fashion College.
Always best to go to a show with your girlfriend – Not for pixies blogger
This dress looks yummy, and I am meaning that in a food tasting way, as it is made out of candy!
I love fashion, as it is art you get to wear, but in this case maybe eat.
Fashion Week always brings women and men from all over the city out into one arena to see who is wearing what, and what the next hit designer will have the best spring line for the upcoming season.
Attending any fashion event, is like watching a street fashion show with everyone dressed up in their best outfit. I decided to not wear my traditional bright coloured outfit, but to show off my mothers homemade skirt, she designed from a magazine clipping she found. I paired it with my favourite classic off the shoulder top from Asos and my Christian Louboutin heels for an elegant look. A look I knew no one at the show would be wearing.
Before heading to the show I had already had my heart set on Alice McCall spring line called “Her Name Was Lola”, as I had already seen some outfits worn by Gary Pepper Girl in Europe. But nothing is better than seeing it on the catwalk.
This year I was very impressed with the production they put on live dancers between the show, the outside area, to take Polaroid photos, get your nails done, drink coffee and another catwalk. Overall they definitely put on an amazing show to their previous year. I only wish I went to a couple more shows, but I always say that.
