On our second last day of the Road Trip we decided to not take the coastline back down and go inland more to check out some waterfalls I had read about in the Australian Travellers magazine I bought from a service station. I was running out of ideas and we were all getting tired and run down from all the travelling, setting up and pulling down of campsites living out of suitcases and just general lack of sleep from constantly being on the go. In the Australian Travellers magazine one of their top recommendation was to visit Armidale. With its city vibe and beautiful country landscapes, National Parks and waterfalls. I must admit I loved walking through the Australian National Parks to find 2 majestic waterfalls. Lucky for us these 2 locations where easy to find. As to the town itself, I cannot really provide much insight to Armidale as we arrived late in evening and left at the crack of dawn so unfortunately nothing was open, however, the town did look really beautiful and clean with historic buildings and amazing countryside.
Nimbin “Australia’s free spirited anything goes town” is a place roughly 1.5 hours west of Byron Bay in New South Wales. Where I recommend everyone visit just to see the natural creative flair this small town has to life. I obviously loved it with all its bright colourful buildings everywhere and though you might not think it but I feel my soul is very similar to hippie lifestyle as I love endlessly, music gives me courage and colourful art everywhere is AMAZING!
I am all about the PEACE, LOVE and HAPPINESS.
