My friends and I have decided to check out a restaurant once a month in Melbourne city to see what fabulous meals it has to offer us.
We are still developing the criteria of how we pick restaurants to attend. Here is what we have so far it the follow:
1. Restaurant needs to be in the CBD area of Melbourne
2. Only one of us is allowed to have eaten there already
3. Affordable restaurants
4. Great ambience
Not much criteria but it is a working progress…
I LOVE CRAB! I think I enjoyed bashing the crab more than anything else. The pieces of corn were superb!
We inhaled the fries, as the seasoning was just perfect, served with a blue cheese. The sauce was not really good.
Fried Green Tomatoes = FABULOUS
Fried Chicken was a perfect to share for 3 people – all 3 of us agree they were great
I always love and appreciate beautiful simple flower arrangements in used jars.
Fabulous atmosphere right when you walk through the door.
These House baked cornbread were so yummy. I couldn’t resist and order 2 more.
Overall we gave Miss Katie’s Crab Shack 10/10 as we got to order almost the whole menu and shared it for 3 people for only $21 each. Bargain!
We recommend everyone to give Miss Katie’s Crab Shack a try!
We are open for restaurant suggestions for our next excursion in January
Great post and I can vouch for the yum food 🙂 ……Also the cruisey vibe at Prudence bar and the ‘dark & stormy’ cocktail…
why in the city? There are so many great spots in richmond and footscray which is not too far for you
Thanks for your comment! My friends and I starting with locations in the city first and working our way through. We will venture outwards but the city is a central location for everyone to meet. If you have suggestions for Footscray or Richmond please let me know either way. Thanks again.
